Chance is a 25 year old artist from Syracuse, Utah. She has recently completed a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Utah State University in 2022 with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. She currently resides in Logan, Utah, pursuing her dream of becoming a full-time artist.

 

Chance explores the idea of producing pieces that spark a sense of elation and delight to her audience as well as herself while she creates. Her subjects include the form of water, she is intrigued by the abstract tendencies and transformative qualities that water can bring to the various subjects it interacts with. Chance creates her pieces using various techniques with oil and acrylic paint, she begins her pieces with an intuitive underpainting and allowing it to create textures and various points of interest in her works.

Her current series titled "Lady of the Sea" explores her love for the ocean, while adding a hint of whimsey and fantasy to each painting. This series is self-portrait focused, an outward representation of herself and her imagination. ​

Chance enjoys surfing, swimming, snowboarding, fishing, and overall having fun in her free time. She is a big foodie and loves to travel all over the world!
